One of the many things I love about this bathroom is how well the light fixtures coordinate with the double-sink vanity. The overall effect gives it an elegant vintage modern look. These square bowl sinks can make a tight counter seem larger because they are clear. Although these bowl sinks don’t allow for much counter space, the medicine cabinets and drawers underneath provide plenty of space to keep things close at hand.
Glass sinks add a neat look to bathrooms and kitchens. For one thing, glass sinks are usually made in unusual shapes which creates an interesting design for the room. They come in colors that aren’t typically used for sinks (like blue and green). They reflect the light of the room in ways that differ from traditional sinks. By playing around with the different textures, shapes, colors and effects of glass you can make a sink that really makes your rooms stand out from the rest.

I think this trend exploded in the eighties, usually in the same arrangement. It was a long counter atop a large clunky vanity that extended all the way to the floor. I’m not quite sure when the name ”Jack and Jill Sinks” came about, but I suppose it had something to do with fetching a pail of water. Anyway, the days of the same old clunky vanity are long gone. Designers have created an endless variety of ways to arrange two sinks in bathrooms. Let’s take a look at a few!
Each of these sinks includes a towel bar that also acts as a guard to prevent contact with the chrome pipes, which can get very hot when you’re running extremely hot water. These wood sinks are naturally gorgeous. That is, their appeal comes from the natural beauty of the wood grain. It might sound surprising, but with the right finish, wood sinks can last for generations. Most finishes need to be reapplied periodically, often every year.
Hair can require a lot of maintenance. From gels, to hairsprays, to curling irons, to hair dryers, to diffusers — the list of hair products never seems to end. Most bathroom vanities aren’t set up for all this. Wires get tangled, countertops get burned — it’s a mess. After years of designing custom bathroom furniture, The Furniture Guild has a solution.
